The Lilypad is an 80-capacity music venue and event space in Inman Square at 1353 Cambridge Street. Seated shows accommodate approximately 60 people. The room features 6 taps and a selection of canned beers and wine.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect avant-garde, experimental, jazz, and original music from local and regional artists. The venue specializes in original material and hosts live performances up to 7 nights a week. The atmosphere is DIY and community-oriented, drawing musicians and audiences from Boston's creative underground.
HISTORY
Founded in 2005, The Lilypad has served as a hub for experimental and avant-garde music in the Boston area. The venue has received recognition as an award-winning performance space and remains a gathering place for Cambridge's independent music community.
