NASHUA
Nashua is New Hampshire's second-largest city and sits just north of the Massachusetts border. Its downtown along Main Street has been reinvesting in cultural programming, with the 2023 opening of the Nashua Center for the Arts marking a significant step for the city's live entertainment identity.
The Nashua Center for the Arts is a modern 1,000-seat theater on Main Street that hosts nationally touring musicians, comedy, and theatrical productions. It serves as the primary performance venue in a downtown that is still building out its nightlife infrastructure compared to Manchester or Portsmouth.
Downtown Nashua has a classic New England Main Street feel with brick sidewalks, independent shops, and restaurants. The audience here tends to be families and suburban professionals heading downtown for a scheduled show rather than a spontaneous night out. Mine Falls Park and Greeley Park host outdoor summer concerts.
Tip: The Nashua Center for the Arts is on Main Street in the heart of downtown. Parking is available in nearby garages and street meters.
