DELTA DENTAL STADIUM
ABOUT
Delta Dental Stadium is a 6,500-seat baseball stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire. It serves as the home field of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, a Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays in the Eastern League. The stadium also hosts concerts and special events on a live music stage added during a 2017 renovation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The stadium hosts minor league baseball throughout the summer season along with concerts, fireworks shows, and community events. A 2017 renovation added a tiered seating section beyond the left field wall, a live music stage, a tiki bar, and a rock waterfall. The venue features the Sam Adams Brewhouse overlooking left field. In 2019, the Fisher Cats transitioned to organic turf management, making it the first professional baseball field to go fully organic.
HISTORY
The first game at the ballpark was played on April 7, 2005 between the New Britain Rock Cats and the Fisher Cats. The first concert was performed by Bob Dylan on August 27, 2006. The stadium has operated under several names: Fisher Cats Ballpark (2005), Merchantsauto.com Stadium (2006-2011), Northeast Delta Dental Stadium (2011-2021), and its current name.
