INTERLAKES SUMMER THEATRE

Interlakes Summer Theatre is a 420-seat professional summer theater located at 1 Laker Lane in Meredith, New Hampshire, in the Lakes Region on Lake Winnipesaukee. The recently renovated venue is air-conditioned.

Each summer, a company of approximately 80 professional actors, directors, designers, and technicians is hired from New York, Boston, and across the country to live in residence for the season. The company also includes college students training for professional careers. Productions consist of Broadway-scale musicals and plays.

The theater was founded in 2008 by Nancy Barry, who had directed the first musical at the Lakes Region Summer Theatre in 1992, an endeavor launched by Norman Leger with partners David and Peter Ramsey. The company carries on a tradition of professional summer theater in the Lakes Region.
